We have practical experience designing and building remote controlled vehicles. This one is a racing quad-copter for racing and aerobatics. We also have experience programming and fine tuning the drones for performance. For racing and aerobatics a drone is invariably controlled manually. In fact a computer would resist the pilot’s actions during acrobatics.
Building the drone not only is it fun but also rewarding and a great learning experience to have, particularly the ability to fly without computer assistance
